Symptom :
Windows 7 Installer hanging at “Starting Windows”
When booting from Installer CD to launch Windows 7 Setup, it hangs displaying “starting Windows”
This happens often if Windows 8 was installed.
Cause :
Hard Disk containing Partitions of type “GPT”
Solution :
Notice
Be sure to backup all your Data, as this will destroy your partition DataErase all Partitions on Disk and change the partition type of Hard Disk from “GPT” to “MBR”
Tip : Use Gparted to do this
